There has allegedly been a shooting in Las Vegas with 20 dead and 100 injured, although it looks like another hoax to me. It’s of course too early to say anything for sure.
A couple of eye witnesses, whose accounts do not sound that credible, say that the shots sounded like fireworks. One of them was who was Joe Pitzel was interviewed by CNN. At the end of the interview the reporter seems to be coaching him: “Did you hear the gunshots pause and start up again?” Joe responds: “Yeah, like they were loading clips.”
Eyewitness News interviewed a woman called Christine. She also thought the shots were fireworks. The reporter seems to be coaching her as well around 1:55 in the video about how she said off camera that she tried to help people.
Based on the photos that I’ve seen, there doesn’t seem be much blood or injuries. One photo has a woman lying down with a bloody leg, but you cannot see the injuries that she supposedly has.
Sure, the pictures show confusion at the site, but I am not yet convinced there was an actual shooting.
There were rumours on the internet that the shooter was a man called Stephen Craig Paddock, and he was just named as the official culprit as I finished writing this. He was supposedly accompanied by a woman called Marilou Danley.
The shooting happened during the concert of Jason Aldean whose name happens to be 33 in Pythagorean numerology. The alleged shooting also happened opposite to the Luxor hotel, which is a pyramid.
It’s too early to say anything for sure, but this event seems highly dubious.
This might just be a weird timestamp thing, but according to Google an article on Marilou Danley that mentions her connection to the shooter and it was created 9 hours ago on tagaloglang.com. The shooting happened around 10 p.m Pacific time on October 1st. It’s now 4 p.m., so the shooting should have happened 6 hours ago, so the webpage was created 3 hours before the event. I suppose the article might have been created beforehand on Danley, if she was a celebrity of some sort in the Philippines, and changed afterwards to mention her connection to the shooter.
I checked Google cache of the article. This snapshot was taken 2 Oct 2017 08:42 GMT. This would be 1:42 a.m. Pacific time. I wonder if that is also when the article was created? If so, why does Google say it’s older? It might just be a weird glitch. The Wayback Machine didn’t have a snapshot of the article.
The page has been updated from the Google cache version to include a photo of her posing. Maybe this webpage is part of her crisis actor portfolio?
